The expected salary range for this position is $136,800 to $152,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and contributions to retirement plans.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

In this role, you will engage in advanced technical and engineering problem solving supporting power plant operations and act as a resource and technical expert for engineers. You will be responsible for making technical decisions and will possess deep knowledge in your functional discipline along with comprehensive awareness of applicable industry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses and programs.
  • Consult and provide technical expertise on equipment and system issues as a subject matter expert to identify and resolve challenges.
  • Exercise engineering and technical leadership accountability for both short-term and long-term initiatives impacting site operations.
  • Perform assigned engineering tasks by applying sound engineering principles.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of work while adhering to configuration management protocols and standard design criteria.
  • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and programs.
  • Recommend improvements related to equipment, processes, or compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee site development engineering and project management for commercial projects.
  • Manage diverse land development site designs.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules effectively.
  • Prepare plan sets and other essential construction documents.
  • Bring design experience in utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence, and permitting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year at the Engineer 3A level.
  • Completion of assigned training programs to achieve expert knowledge in designated engineering areas.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven ability to mentor fellow engineers in essential skills and knowledge.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineering License is desirable.
