🚧 Now Hiring: Civil Engineer Location: Sacramento, CA (On-site | Full-time) Company: SERVPRO® Team Carpenter

SERVPRO® Team Carpenter is expanding our capabilities to serve large-scale restoration, mitigation, and reconstruction projects. We're seeking a Civil Engineer with a strong background in structural assessments, site evaluations, and public sector collaboration. This is a key role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, emergency response environments and understands the demands of both government and commercial clients.

🛠️ What You'll Do:

Conduct structural assessments and evaluations following fire, water, or catastrophic damage

Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and construction crews on mitigation and reconstruction plans

Provide engineering support for permitting, site development, temporary structures, and erosion control

Work with government agencies, municipalities, and insurance adjusters to ensure code compliance and safety

Prepare documentation, drawings, and reports as needed for regulatory submittals and client communication

Support project scope development, change orders, and field inspections on active job sites

✅ What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license preferred)

Minimum 3–5 years of field experience in civil or structural engineering (restoration or reconstruction preferred)

Knowledge of local codes, FEMA/NFIP guidelines, and government permitting processes

Ability to create and review construction documents, site plans, and engineering reports

Excellent communication and time management skills

Strong critical thinking and situational judgment, especially in post-disaster conditions
