A leading power transmission company in Tucker, GA is seeking an Engineer (Civil preferred) to support the modification, repair, and replacement of high-voltage overhead transmission lines. This long-term contract role offers hands-on engineering experience in a fast-paced utility environment. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop transmission line modifications and repairs under senior engineer guidance. Create drawings, specifications, and materials lists for field maintenance projects. Assist with field investigations for siting, constructability, and inspections. Review drawings and documents for encroachment investigations. Support transmission line operations and maintenance efforts. Qualifications: Bachelors in Engineering (Civil preferred). 1-5 years of engineering experience (utility industry preferred). AutoCAD experience required; PLS-CADD is a plus.
