Civil Engineer I - City of Grand Rapids MI : Job Details

The purpose of this job is to perform field inspection of public projects in construction. Performs design engineering calculations in support of construction plans and specifications. Performs AutoCAD at a proficient level to prepare complete and accurate construction plans. Maintain project documentation for record keeping purposes on municipal engineering projects. Calculates and prepares pay estimates for contractor payment. Completes as-built process for project record retention. Essential Duties & Responsibilities.
