The Engineering Department staff is comprised of engineers, surveyors, construction inspectors, technicians and office personnel, and the Department provides many services to the public and other departments within the City government. The main focus of these projects are the design and project management of city-initiated water, sewer, and storm drainage line extension and replacement projects, as well as street resurfacing, sidewalk and greenway projects, and city facility improvements. Additionally Department staff members play a critical role in the review and inspection of developer-initiated residential and commercial projects.
