Position: Civil Engineer and Planner – Renewable Central Maintenance – Contract, 1 year.

Location: Juno Beach, FL

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Support maintenance teams responsible for wind component restorations (gearboxes, blades). Collaborate with planning to minimize civil work preparation time.
• Assess optimal road entries for wind site restorations using GIS tools.
• Conduct road surveys and evaluate necessary modifications for crane and equipment access.
• Design road modifications, including turn radii, crane pads, soil studies, and gravel selection.
• Ensure road access agreements with state, county, and landowners are in place.
• Manage civil projects affecting maintenance planning, ensuring timely completion of civil and road work activities.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Experience in civil engineering, specifically in road design and modifications.
• Proficiency with GIS tools, creating .kmz files, and coding for road-use optimization.
• Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with management, landowners, and government agencies.
