The firm is looking to fill 1-3 positions with attorneys who have 2 or more of civil litigation defense experience (will consider 10+ year attorneys).Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary attorney on assigned cases, managing all aspects within a supportive, collaborative environment.
- Handle court appearances, draft and respond to discovery, and conduct depositions with strategic precision.
- Prepare cases for mediation, pre-trial proceedings, and trial, delivering high-quality legal representation.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing timely updates and aligning with their goals.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years (will absolutely hire senior level candidates as well) of civil litigation defense experience, with a preference for expertise in public entity defense, insurance defense, or business litigation.
- A minimum of 2 years of civil defense experience is required; candidates with plaintiff-side experience may be considered if they demonstrate relevant skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage cases independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture.
- Active membership in the California Bar in good standing.
