Description

This team is seeking a resource to review the university's ISE/SD Access environment for performance improvement opportunities.

Location: 5 days a week onsite in New Haven, CT. The role will transition to a hybrid schedule after 3-4 months.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco ISE in an enterprise environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, Cisco TrustSec, posture assessment, and profiling.
  • Experience with Guest/BYOD management workflows.
  • Strong understanding of networking and security fundamentals (Layer 2/3 switching, VLANs, ACLs, DHCP, DNS, etc.).
  • Experience with Cisco Catalyst switches, WLCs, and related infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory integration, certificate services, and authentication protocols.
  • Comfortable working in CLI and GUI environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNP Security or Cisco Certified Specialist - Security Identity Management, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Cisco ISE version 3.x, upgrades, and migration best practices.
  • Familiarity with Cisco DNA Center, Cisco AnyConnect, or endpoint visibility tools.
  • Scripting/automation skills (Python, Ansible, REST API).
  • Experience with wireless security integration and zero trust access models.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility for benefits depends on job classification and employment length, and benefits may include:
