About the Job

The Testing Evaluator position is a remote, on-demand, part-time role. The evaluator assists with language proficiency testing, interacting with examinees in the target language via phone or technology-based mediums. Tests are scored based on provided criteria; paid training is provided. Evaluators must follow scoring procedures and maintain consistency, confidentiality, and professionalism.

• Perform tests professionally
• Follow testing procedures
• Score tests according to guidelines
• Enter data promptly
• Provide feedback to the testing department
• Conduct pilot tests
• Create and review test items
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Position Requirements
• Strong oral and written skills in the target language
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Technical communication skills
• Professionalism and organization
• Must have email and internet access
• Computer literacy

• Education/Training
• Native fluency in the target language
• College Degree
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• English proficiency of ILR level 2+/2+

• Experience
• Combination of training and experience demonstrating required skills

• Salary
• Range: $9.00 to $30.00 per test, depending on various factors

• Full-Time/Part-Time

Contingent position. Part-time employees are not eligible for benefits.

• Location

Remote; must reside in the U.S., excluding Maine and Puerto Rico. Check state posters for pay equity info.
