Chopper/ Roller M-Th 6 am-4:30 pm OT $18-20/hr We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fiberglass Chopper/ Roller to assist in the manufacturing and lamination of fiberglass-reinforced products. The role involves operating a chopper gun to apply resin and fiberglass material, followed by hand rolling to ensure even distribution, air removal, and proper curing. Ideal candidates will have experience in composite or fiberglass work and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities: Operate a fiberglass chopper gun to spray chopped fiberglass and resin mixture onto molds. Use rollers and brushes to evenly distribute resin, eliminate air bubbles, and ensure proper laminate bonding. Prepare molds and surfaces, including applying release agents and ensuring cleanliness. Follow job specifications, work orders, and layup schedules for thickness and layering requirements. Monitor resin mix ratios, material usage, and curing times.
