(Casual) Children and Family Services Case Manager-Supervised Visitation Worker

Starting Pay: $26.00 to $30.59

This casual position will facilitate family interactions for families involved in the Child Welfare system. The worker will supervise family interactions, coach, mentor, and support parents in effective parenting techniques and ensure child safety. During family interactions, the worker will focus on the observation and documentation of parenting skills. This includes appropriate and inappropriate interactions, age expectations, behavior management techniques, and visit planning/preparation. Documentation is essential to the position and should describe the interactions of the involved family members, including greetings, activities, interactions, conversations, and care provided by parents as well as actions providers or parents took to redirect inappropriate situations. In most cases, the worker will provide transportation for children to and from supervised visits using county vehicles.

Preferred applicant shall have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a closely related field. A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered. A valid driver's license is required.
