Childcare Provider - Afterschool - Sanctuary for Families : Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Child Care Provider at our Domestic Violence (DV) Shelter. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a supportive and engaging environment for children residing in the shelter for after-school and summer programming. The Childcare Provider is responsible for planning and implementing a variety of educational, recreational, and enrichment activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the children. Please note this is a part-time position (28 hours per week). RESPONSIBILITIES - Be prepared to address and de-escalate emotional crises or conflicts among children. Foster a nurturing and empathetic environment to help children cope with the challenges they may be facing.
