Childcare Center Director - English Village Daycare Center : Job Details

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Childcare Director at English Village Early Learning Center in Bethesda, Maryland. The Childcare Director will oversee the daily operations of the center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for children, families, and staff. Responsibilities include managing and supporting teaching staff, developing and implementing age-appropriate curricula, ensuring compliance with state regulations, maintaining licensing standards, and fostering strong relationships with families and the community.

• Proven leadership experience in early childhood education or childcare administration
• Strong communication, organizational, and team management skills
• In-depth knowledge of early childhood development and best practices
• Familiarity with state regulations and licensing requirements for childcare facilities
• Ability to create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred)
• Experience in program development, staff supervision, and family engagement initiatives
