Childcare Associate Teacher - JAY PEAK RESORT : Job Details

The Childcare Associate Teacher organizes and leads activities for children between the ages of six weeks and twelve years in the childcare center for the guests and employees of Jay Peak Resort. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)Will primarily support the preschool and school age classroom but will also float in infant and toddler classrooms to offer support and cover breaks as needed. Follows all center-based and preschool licensing requirements. Follows all the center's policies and procedures. Conducts opening and closing duties. Always supervises children and ensures safety. Displays the ability to communicate in a professional manner treating staff, children, and families with dignity, respect, and a friendly matter. Actively engages children in reading, games, creative play, painting, drawing, songs, and similar activities. Greets families, stores belongings and ensures they are labeled.
