The Buckeye Ranch is seeking Child Protective Specialists to join our Permanent Family Solutions Network. What you'll do:
- Conduct required in home monitoring visits with families and children served by PFSN
- Schedules visits and coordinates family-based services for children and families in their home, school, and community; monitors placement/treatment of children in out of home care (i.e., relative placement, foster care, residential care, Independent Living, etc.)
- Develop family-centered case plans in partnership with families; monitors family's progress towards identified case plan goals; adjusts the type and intensity of case plan services as needed
- Identify indicators of age-appropriate development in all domains for children of varying ages.
- Adapt services to meet the needs and individual preferences of clients and family members including but not limited to culture norms, language and interpreter needs, and communication preferences.
- Develop collaborative relationships with service providers tailored to the needs of culturally diverse healthcare consumers and family members.
- Attend multi-disciplinary diagnostic and technical staff conferences to assess the services needed.
- Transport clients when taking protective custody, when placing them in substitute care, and when changing placement location; transports clients to appointments (i.e., court hearings, medical appointments, counseling sessions, police station, etc.) and to necessitate the delivery of client services.

Qualifications
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in a human service, or related field required
- Previous Child Welfare experience a plus
- Active Ohio driver's license and proof of car insurance
