Opened in 2020, The Pillars Child Care Center is conveniently located off the light rail transit station and close to the metro bus near the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN. This Intergenerational Child Care Center is embedded in The Pillars of Prospect Park Senior Living community and features 133 Independent living, 106 assisted living, and 44 memory care apartments. Under the supervision of the Child Care Director, the Teacher is responsible for the care and supervision of children in their assigned age group, which may include infant, toddler, preschool, or school-age children. Responsible for the supervision of the Assistant Teacher or Aide assigned to the classroom. To lead, plan, and organize childcare program activities to ensure that the program provides the highest quality childcare available.
