Position Overview

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is a key member of the executive team, responsible for leading all revenue-generating functions across Dennis & Co.'s 12-store dealership platform. This includes oversight of new and pre-owned vehicle sales, finance & insurance (F&I), fixed operations, digital retailing, and business development. The CRO's mandate is clear: drive profitable growth, elevate operational performance, and ensure alignment across all touchpoints of the customer journey.

Essential Duties Included but are limited to:

  • Develop and lead the execution of an integrated revenue strategy across all 12 dealerships.
  • Align all sales, marketing, F&I, fixed ops, and customer experience initiatives to maximize gross profit and top-line growth.
  • Set performance targets, commission plans, and incentive structures for General Managers and key store personnel.

Operational Leadership

  • Lead and coach General Managers to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and performance expectations.
  • Oversee inventory strategy, sales process execution, and digital-to-physical customer journey optimization.
  • Instill a culture of accountability across all revenue-facing departments.

Digital Retail & Marketing

  • Drive digital marketing efforts to increase traffic, lead conversion, and customer engagement.
  • Oversee BDC operations to ensure best-in-class follow-up, lead handling, and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure seamless, omnichannel integration between online and showroom sales experiences.

F&I Performance Optimization

  • Collaborate with F&I leadership to enhance product penetration, PVR, compliance, and training.
  • Establish best practices in menu selling, lender relationships, and operational consistency.

Data-Driven Performance Management

  • Leverage KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor and improve revenue outcomes.
  • Identify performance gaps and lead fast, data-informed remediation plans.
  • Champion a culture of transparency, results, and continuous improvement.

Customer Experience Integration

  • Align revenue initiatives with customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention efforts.
  • Partner with service and fixed ops teams to maximize lifetime value and cross-departmental revenue.

Acquisition Strategy & Integration

  • Actively participate in evaluating, pursuing, closing, and integrating new dealership acquisitions to expand group footprint and performance.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 15+ years of progressive automotive retail leadership with demonstrable multi-store oversight success required.
  • Proven expertise in driving revenue across sales, F&I, fixed ops, and digital retail.
  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing to financial targets.
  • Strong command of CRM, digital retailing platforms, and dealership technology stacks.
  • Sharp analytical and financial skills; decisively manages by the numbers.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership presence, and change management capability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $650,000 - $900,000
