Chief Product Officer – SaaS Healthcare Tech | PE-Backed Growth Opportunity

Our client is a fast-growing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company transforming patient communications in healthcare. Their solutions enable hospitals, clinics, and labs to streamline administrative phone interactions and automate outbound communications via text and voice. By offering a comprehensive digital front door, they enhance both patient engagement and operational efficiency. Their platform integrates in real-time with contact center systems, Electronic Health Records (EHRs), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to drive scalable, workflow-optimized experiences.

About the Role:

This PE-backed organization is seeking an accomplished and visionary Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead product and engineering strategy as the company enters its next phase of aggressive growth. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in SaaS, data analytics, platform development, DevOps, and AI/ML integration—ideally within private equity environments.

This high-impact executive position will oversee product management, engineering, data, and technology operations to ensure the platform continues to scale, evolve, and deliver measurable value to customers.

Key Product Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the end-to-end product strategy in alignment with business and PE value creation goals
  • Drive innovation across the SaaS/AI product suite, focusing on scalability, UX, and data insights
  • Lead Product Management and Product Marketing with a focus on clear business alignment and market positioning
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to translate customer needs into roadmap priorities
  • Cultivate a data-driven culture and oversee the evolution of internal and external analytics platforms
  • Embed AI/ML into product features and roadmap execution
  • Present product KPIs and roadmap updates to Board and PE stakeholders

Technology Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute technology strategy that supports growth and platform scalability
  • Oversee global engineering and DevOps execution, ensuring code quality, agile maturity, and automation
  • Implement AI/ML tools to boost engineering productivity (e.g., coding copilots, automated testing)
  • Build and scale a global team, including offshore resources, ensuring alignment and delivery excellence
  • Report technology metrics and risk assessments to the Board and investors

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 10+ years of progressive product and technology leadership, including CPO or executive-level roles
  • Success in high-growth, Private Equity-backed businesses, with a strong grasp of value creation expectations
  • Deep expertise in SaaS platforms, product lifecycle, DevOps, and data architecture
  • Experience deploying AI/ML in both customer-facing features and internal engineering workflows
  • Proven track record of leading distributed, hybrid engineering teams
  • Exceptional communication skills and executive presence
  • Bonus: Experience in healthcare technology, especially with EHR integration, contact center solutions, or patient engagement platforms

What's Offered:

  • Executive leadership role with equity in a high-growth, PE-backed organization
  • Opportunity to scale a category-defining SaaS platform using cutting-edge technologies
  • Collaborative, mission-driven leadership team
  • Competitive compensation, equity upside, and performance-based incentives
