Chief Power Distribution Engineer - Direct Current - Eaton Corporation, plc : Job Details

You will: - Lead the design of direct current power systems in data centers from customer concepts through to detailed one-lines. - Perform electrical equipment sizing, breaker coordination studies, arc flash studies and other fundamental power system design work with direct current products from Eaton. - Work with product teams to specify new products to fill gaps in Eatons DC offering. - Engage with 3rd party suppliers when required to fill product gaps not produced by Eaton. - Work with the Direct Current Data Center System Architect to identify optimal value for the customer and perform trade-off studies of different approaches to DC Power distribution. - Provide application guidance to Eaton Research & Development teams for DC-related research - Engage with codes and standards committees on new Direct Current product standards and applicable building code updates.
