The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving a long-term investment strategy that delivers measurable public benefits, building collaboration across departments and partner agencies, and serving as a trusted advisor to the City Council, leadership, and the community. The focus is on strategic leadership, breaking down silos, and advancing the vision for sustainable, equitable growth. The ideal candidate for the Chief Planning Officer position at the company will have a Bachelor's degree in urban planning, public administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 7 years of planning experience, including senior leadership roles. Expertise in comprehensive planning and interdepartmental coordination is essential, as is a strong skill set in strategic, political, and communication areas.
