Reporting directly to the President/Chief Executive Officer, the Chief People Officer will develop and execute innovative talent management strategies, harnessing next-generation tools such as AI, virtual collaboration platforms, and immersive experiences to enhance employee engagement, development, and organizational agility. They will focus on shaping a forward-thinking culture that promotes continuous learning, diversity, inclusion, and strategic agility.
Aligned with the Credit Union's mission and long-term growth objectives, this leader will leverage automation, digital workflows, and real-time analytics to optimize HR processes, elevate member and employee experiences, and foster cross-departmental collaboration. They will collaborate closely with executive leadership and stakeholders to cultivate a culture founded on innovation, emotional intelligence, and service excellence.
The Chief People Officer will be responsible for shaping the organizational mindset, inspiring confidence, and conveying key information effectively to the Board of Directors, strategic partners, and associates. This role emphasizes developing individuals and teams, instilling a shared vision, and promoting leadership competencies that drive success amid a rapidly evolving industry landscape.
Additionally, this executive will serve as a key influencer in strategic change management, guiding the organization through transformation initiatives that foster engagement and organizational capability. They will coach and mentor teams to adapt to new technologies and industry trends, identifying innovative opportunities for process efficiencies that support the Credit Union's strategic mission.

Help Us Get to Know YouReady to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a seasoned leader with a bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and at least 10 years of relevant experience. You should bring a strong background in change management, strategy execution, and team leadership, along with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to influence and collaborate across departments, and experience building strategic partnerships. Strong organizational skills and familiarity with standard business software are also essential. Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are highly desirable.
