We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our operations, drive scalable growth, and optimize performance across all service lines.
Position SummaryThe COO will oversee day-to-day operations across our clinical, infusion, and research services while building the infrastructure necessary for strategic growth. This executive leader will develop SOPs, manage staffing, ensure compliance, and implement systems that support efficiency, quality care delivery, and business performance.
You will work closely with physician leadership and clinical directors to shape the future of the practice.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and oversee all operational aspects of the practice, including clinic, infusion center, and research operations
Develop and implement scalable SOPs, protocols, and workflows across departments
Collaborate with physician-owners on strategic planning and execution of growth initiatives (e.g., additional sites, service expansion)
Manage human resources functions: recruiting, training, and performance management of clinical and administrative staff
Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation in partnership with the finance team
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to ensure efficiency and accountability
Ensure compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, FDA for research)
Improve patient access, experience, and retention through operational excellence
Lead technology implementation (EMR optimization, RCM software, scheduling platforms, etc.)
Foster a culture of teamwork, integrity, and patient-centered care
Minimum 5+ years in healthcare operations leadership , preferably in a multisite specialty practice , infusion center , or clinical research setting
Proven experience in scaling medical practices or opening new clinic locations
Expertise in developing and managing clinical and administrative SOPs
Strong knowledge of staffing models , HR practices , and compliance frameworks
Demonstrated success managing budgets, KPIs, and practice growth metrics
Familiarity with clinical trials operations and regulatory oversight a plus
Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business (MBA), or related field preferred
