Job Summary:
The Chief of University Police and Executive Director of Campus Services is responsible for the direction and management of all administrative and operational functions of the department. This role oversees police and security functions, public safety, parking, vehicle services, shipping, property control, key control, and safety/environmental compliance across all NEIU locations.

Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Police Science, Law Enforcement, or related field is required; a master's degree and advanced law enforcement training are preferred. Candidates should have at least 10 years of law enforcement management experience, familiarity with NIMS and ICS protocols, and experience in developing emergency plans. Strong communication, organizational, management, and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience working on a college campus is preferred.
This position requires a background check.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
