The Queens County District Attorney's Office seeks an experienced Chief Information Officer to work collaboratively, creatively and with determination to create and support a best-in-class information technology bureau that effectively supports the work of the Office. The Chief Information Officer will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining enterprise IT projects including both proprietary and vendor-configurable applications. Paramount to the success of the Chief Information Officer will be a relentless focus on user needs, deep experience in IT project implementation and stellar communication skills.

Preferred Education and Qualification Requirements:
A baccalaureate degree in computer science or related field from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years of progressively more responsible, full-time experience using information technology in computer applications programming, systems programming, computer systems development, data telecommunications, user services, or area networks; at least 5 years of this experience must have been in a managerial or executive capacity in the areas of computer applications programming, systems programming, computer systems development, or in the supervision of staff performing these duties; or education and/or experience equivalent to the above.
A master's degree in computer science or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact with executive leadership and experience in handling confidential information.
Salary commensurate with experience. Salary range from $205,000 to $210,000.
