Our client was established in 1977 to assist employers with the implementation and operation of Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit and other employee benefit plans. They have evolved into one of the largest employee benefit firms in Southwestern Ohio.
Their staff of more than 50 professionals support a client base of over 475 companies. Our client serves clients nationally, as well as regionally in our primary market of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana from our administration center and headquarters located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
WHO YOU ARE:
An experienced Information Technology leader with the ability to develop, plan, and implement an information technology (IT) strategy that meets the company's business needs, delivers optimal return on investment, and maintains utmost security. Must have demonstrated ability to lead and engage teams to accomplish critical objectives. A strong verbal and written communicator and one that strives for excellence.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Effective oversight of projects and assignments within the Information Technology (IT) department.
- Lead the IT team to ensure timely modernization and upgrades that support operational efficiency and innovation.
- Deliver timely, constructive performance evaluations.
- Partner with executive leadership to align IT initiatives with business and financial objectives.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and anticipate their impact on organizational structure and strategy.
- Ensure IT infrastructure reliably supports the company's computing, data, and communication needs.
- Develop, manage, and ensure adherence to the IT budget.
- Effectively communicate company goals, projects, and timelines across the organization and IT, ensuring aligned planning and execution.
- Define long-term IT requirements and crafts strategies for system development and procurement of necessary software and hardware.
- Serve as senior point of contact for end users to identify IT needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure all IT operations comply with applicable government regulations.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Retirement planning industry experience
- Progressive experience in managing information systems and technology at increasing levels of responsibility
- Strong expertise in information technology and IT system architecture.
- Strong awareness of current and emerging cybersecurity threats, with a proven ability to implement secure, resilient IT infrastructures and drive a culture of security across the organization.
- Knowledge of emerging AI technologies and trends, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives to responsibly integrate AI into business processes and IT systems.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and management capabilities.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Full-time, exempt position with benefits.
- Location: Onsite in Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid schedule may be available as agreed upon)
- Compensation: $120k-$140k annually
