Why This Role Is Important
- Work with the CEO and President of each portfolio company and provide guidance, insight, and analysis in the development and execution of short and long-term strategic objectives.
- Work with the Executive Team to instill a cash culture and ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with executives, management, and ownership.
- Coach, develop, and mentor the accounting and finance teams at each portfolio company.
- Drive for results to enhance financial performance and business opportunities including modernizing the way the companies operate.
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions of the organization.
- Find opportunities and implement sustainable and systematic improvements to financial, operational, and sales processes.
- Ensure credibility of the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
- Take the lead on managing the company's banking and insurance relationships.
- Oversee risk and business insurance plans and health care coverage analysis.
Background That Fits
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or master's preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
