Job Duties
  • Lead and mentor a three-person accounting team while implementing strategic financial improvements
  • Oversee general ledger accounting, consolidated financials, and corporate taxation
  • Manage multi-jurisdictional sales and tax compliance for contracting projects
  • Optimize Vista ERP system implementation and improve Procore integration
  • Develop enhanced financial reporting and KPIs to support data-driven decision making
  • Build relationships with project management to enhance financial accountability
  • Manage external relationships with banks, insurance, and bonding agencies
  • Administer state and local tax licensing and renewals
  • Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in construction industry
  • Experience with Vista ERP system (required)
  • Master's degree in accounting or business administration (MBA in Finance and CPA/CMA preferred)
  • Strong understanding of tax compliance for multi-jurisdictional contracting
  • CCIFP certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with Procore and Microsoft Power BI beneficial
  • Knowledge of government contracting, FAR compliance requirements
  • Strategic thinker who translates financial data into valuable business insights
  • Diplomatic change manager skilled at building relationships with established teams
  • Outstanding communicator capable of engaging at all levels of the organization
