We re Looking For A: Chief Executive Officer to be responsible for identifying, growing and leading a vertically integrated team currently composed of five branded pet product businesses. This role will report to the company s board of directors.

Job Description:

As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, you will lead our digital marketing-oriented approach to revolutionize the online landscape for pet companies while ensuring compliance with public company requirements, and preparing for a potential initial public offering (IPO). You will drive strategic marketing initiatives, manage back office infrastructure, engage with shareholders, and maintain transparency and accountability in all aspects of the business. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of visionary leadership, digital marketing expertise, and experience in navigating the complexities of a public company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop, manage and execute a comprehensive strategy that aligns with the company's goals and values, leveraging exceptional educational creative content and data-driven insights and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities and continue to increase profitability.
  • Brand Development and Positioning: Oversee the development and management of the company's existing brands while introducing new brands to expand market penetration.
  • Customer Acquisition and Retention: Drive customer acquisition initiatives through targeted marketing campaigns and partnerships, maximizing engagement and loyalty while delivering value to shareholders through increased market share and revenue growth.
  • Product Marketing and Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and innovation, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer preferences to maximize market competitiveness.
  • Digital Marketing Excellence: Lead the company's digital marketing efforts to optimize visibility, engagement, and conversion rates while ensuring compliance with public company regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Expand Channels: Identify, staff and manage team to expand sales channels, such as international, retail, etc.
  • Data Analytics and Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs and metrics to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and company performance, leveraging data analytics and insights to drive continuous improvement and optimize marketing ROI.
  • IPO Preparation and Execution: Lead and collaborate with internal resources, legal, financial, and investment banking advisors to prepare for a potential IPO in 2025, including conducting due diligence, meeting with analysts and investors, drafting prospectuses, and navigating regulatory requirements to maximize success. Build an IPO experienced executive team.
  • Public Company Governance: Ensure compliance with all public company requirements, including SEC filings, financial disclosures, and corporate governance standards, to maintain shareholder trust and confidence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Investor Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with shareholders, analysts, and institutional investors, providing transparency and accountability in all communications while maximizing shareholder value and market confidence.
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee management of day-to-day operations, including manufacturing, fulfillment, customer service, finance, HR and IT. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence among team members.
  • Team Development and Succession Planning: Develop and implement strategies for team development and succession planning to ensure the continuity of leadership and expertise within the organization. Identify high-potential talent, provide mentoring and career development opportunities, and cultivate a pipeline of future leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successful leadership as a CEO, COO, or in senior executive positions within consumer packaged goods industry or related e-commerce sector.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of driving strategic initiatives to successful outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of public company governance, and SEC and reporting requirements, with experience in preparing for and executing initial public offerings IPO and maintaining transparency and accountability to shareholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build strong relationships, and effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Innovative mindset and creative thinking, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive shareholder value and market success.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
