Short descriptionAre you ready to power up your career in the Offshore world? An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Chief Engineer to join a dynamic project in the United States. Read on to learn more about this role.Function descriptionWe are currently seeking a skilled Chief Engineer for a project based in the United States, starting on August 10th. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all engineering systems onboard an Anchor Handling Tug vessel. This includes overseeing maintenance, troubleshooting & compliance with maritime safety standards.Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all mechanical and electrical systems onboard, including propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
• Supervise engine room personnel and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of engine performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company procedures.
• Coordinate with the Captain and other departments to support vessel operations, especially during towing and anchor handling tasks.

RequirementsRequirements:

• Valid STCW Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency.
• Experience on Tugs and/or AHTS vessels.
• BOSIET + CA-EBS certification.
• US B1 Visa with wind annotation.
• Relevant Offshore and Engineering certificates.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
