Position: Marine Engineer

The Engineer is primarily responsible for the maintenance and repair of engines, operating systems, and appliances on the company's towboats. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining main engines and generator sets
  • Managing electrical systems
  • Overseeing steering and hydraulic systems
  • Maintaining heating and cooling systems
  • Managing potable water and wastewater systems, including sewage treatment
  • Maintaining fuel and lube oil systems
  • Ensuring the proper operation of other vessel systems
