Rose Cay Maritime is seeking experienced Chief Engineers to join our growing team, specifically for our Gulf and Northeast Fleets.

• Head of the Engineering Department (reports to the Master).
• Ensure vessel operation complies with vessel COI (if applicable), stability letter, and all crew follow the Company CLASSIFICATION SOCIETY approved TSMS.
• Report deficiencies, safety hazards, and TSMS non-conformities to the OICNW or Master.
• Oversee maintenance and inspections, maintain records, and report any issues to the Master.
• Familiarize the Assistant Engineer with duties.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities.
• Report machinery deficiencies and repair requests.
• Manage engine room spares/stores, inventory, and record-keeping.
• Identify and address machinery/system defects.
• Serve as Designated Person in Charge (PIC) for fuel transfers and bunkering.
• Communicate machinery status before leave.
