About the Role

The Company is looking for a dynamic Chief Development Executive to join its team at a critical juncture of growth and strategic transformation. In this key role, you will lead the planning, direction, and implementation of a robust fundraising program designed to achieve the organization's goals. We seek an exceptional leader with outstanding management skills to oversee diverse fundraising initiatives, including major gifts, leadership society, gift planning, and annual membership.

The CDE will provide strategic leadership and manage a comprehensive multi-year plan aimed at enhancing underwriting sponsorships while ensuring the effective execution of all development and underwriting activities. Collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team is essential for supporting the achievement of our organizational objectives.

Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 8 years in development and a solid understanding of fundraising principles and practices. We value a proven record of leadership, management, and supervisory skills, complemented by excellent communication abilities.

As part of your role, you will work closely with volunteers, the Board of Trustees, and senior management to foster and maintain relationships with donors. Experience in public media is highly desirable, and familiarity with contemporary technologies that support development activities is important. Additionally, you should excel in team environments, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and embody a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
