• License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New York.
• Registration Certification for Contrast Injection in the State of New York.
• Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist including one (1) year in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity; or
• Associate's degree and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist including one (1) year in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity; or
• Equivalent experience gained by the completion of technical training as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, an approved school or training institution may be substituted for the above experience requirement. However, all candidates must possess at least two (2) years of experience as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist including one (1) year in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity.

Note

• As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the Registration Certification for Contrast Injection in the State of New York within six (6) months of their appointment to this title.
• As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within ninety (90) days of their appointment to this title.
• Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 Years CT experience
• Recent GE scanner experience
• ARRT Certification CT, as well as IV certification
• One year experience working in a hospital and worked in a union environment
• Previous supervisory experience and experience with ACR Accreditation
