Job DetailsThe Chief CRNA at Jefferson Health New Jersey is a full-time clinical and administrative leader responsible for overseeing CRNA operations, staffing, and performance in coordination with anesthesia and hospital leadership across the designated campus.Job DescriptionJefferson Health – New Jersey is seeking an experienced Chief CRNA to provide leadership and clinical oversight of our CRNA team across our South Jersey campuses. This full-time position plays a key role in the coordination of CRNA staffing, performance, and daily operations in partnership with anesthesia and hospital leadership.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee CRNA scheduling, staffing, and day-to-day operations
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of CRNA staff.
- Serve as liaison between CRNAs, surgeons, OR staff, and hospital leadership to support team communication and performance.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new CRNAs
- Conduct performance reviews and mentor staff
- Serve as a liaison between CRNAs, physicians, OR teams, and administrators
- Participate in meetings, shared governance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Participate in departmental initiatives, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Active RN and CRNA licensure in New Jersey (or eligible)
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a CRNA preferred
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
