Chief Boiler Engineer - Freeport McMoRan : Job Details

Oversee the operation and maintenance of the 80,000 lb/hr waste heat boiler and multiple smaller gas fired boilers in metallurgical copper smelting facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the boilers, optimizing performance, maintenance planning, training and implementing best practices in boiler management. This role requires extensive knowledge of boiler systems, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and environmental compliance. Lead and manage the waste heat boiler engineering team, providing technical guidance and support. Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of waste heat boilers to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
