Faculty are offered extensive training and development in teaching strategies and are expected to participate in departmental and campus wide activities to support the needs of the students in meeting their learning outcomes.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSDegree Requirements: Master's Degree in Chemistry required.Work Experience Requirements: Experience working in Chemistry fieldESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONSProvide instruction with the focus on teaching and learning to help assure students I each class successfully meet all course outcomes and classroom objectives.Participate in professional development activities that develop and enhance teaching and facilitation skills.Participate in campus wide initiatives in support of recruitment, retention and graduation goal attainment including but not limited to, monitoring, adjusting (when needed), and assessing classroom program retention/graduation and meeting with program advisors on a regular basis to discuss student performance and academic concerns.Fulfill all administrative duties related to instructional responsibilitiesInterested in teaching but are not sure it's for you?
