We are seeking a highly motivated Chemical Engineer to join our team at Picatinny, NJ, pending contract award.
Responsibilities
Assist with the development of requirements and project plans.Oversee the program management of various projects aimed at the modernization of facilities, systems, and processes at Army Ammunition Plants (AAP).Implement strategies developed by Government personnel that enhance operational efficiency while ensuring strict adherence to maintenance schedules, safety standards, and environmental compliance.Closely monitor project performance, analyzing cost implications and timelines to ensure objectives are met within budgetary constraints.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and innovation, contributing to the AAP's competitiveness.Communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with team members and leadership; leadership skills are essential for guiding team members through complex challenges and facilitating successful project execution.Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to promote continuous improvement and support long-term sustainability goals.Required Qualifications & Experience
Active Secret ClearanceBachelor's degree in a related field or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degreeMinimum of seven (7) years of experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbout DAS
