This posting is for a Home Sporting Events Manager for the 2025-26 school year. In-District applicants will receive first consideration. Rate of pay based on experience and the Extra-Curricular Activities Salary Schedule. The stipend range is $3,556.-$4,211. The job of the Home Sporting Events Manager is to oversee and coordinate all aspects of sporting events that take place in a home venue. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events and creating an environment that is safe and enjoyable for participants, spectators, and staff. REQUIRED ATTACHMENT: Resume (include coaching positions held) Performance Responsibilities: Event Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with event stakeholders to determine event requirements, objectives, and logistics.
- Develop event plans and timelines.
- Coordinate with various departments, such as facilities management, security, marketing, and ticketing, to ensure proper event execution.
- Assist in arranging for necessary equipment, facilities, and personnel for each event.
Venue Management:
- Coordinate with facilities management to ensure proper functioning of amenities, seating areas, and parking facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any safety or maintenance issues.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise event staff, including ticketing staff, and event volunteers.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to staff members, ensuring smooth event operations.
Event Operations:
- Oversee event setup, including seating arrangements, signage, and concessions.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the provision of food, beverages,merchandise, and other event-related services.
- Manage ticketing operations, including ticket sales, distribution, and entry processes.
- Assist in addressing and resolving any issues or complaints from participants, spectators, or staff during events.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
Other:

- Consistently deal with people in a courteous and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of sports event operations, logistics, and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and event management software.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the event schedule.
- Successful prior experience as a Home Sports Event Manager or Coach.
- Strong background in sports/activity.
- Teaching certification desired but not required.
Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing:
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification Card
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance (cost paid by applicant)
- Knowledge of WIAA rules and regulations as they pertain to designated sport/activity
- Meets WIAA coaching standards
- Type II driver's endorsement (driver's abstract and Type II employee medical statement)
- Additional trainings as required by the Chehalis School District
