Checker - Boar's Head Provisions Co. : Job Details

Ensures orders are processed in accordance with the Boars Head's customer service standards. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a warehouse, distribution center, or meat processing facility. Works without close supervision; typically reports to a lead, supervisor, and/or manager. Job Description:Responsibilities:Assuring Weight is within allowed tolerance on all pallets/orders. Rejecting pallets/orders that do not meet specifications. Counting product/cases per pallet physically and noting quantities on the packing slip. Responsible for making sure that all pallets are in acceptable condition. Ensuring that all pallets/orders are properly labeled and accompanied with all the required documentation. Communicating all product shortages to the Lead or Supervisor. Keeping workstation in a clean and safe condition. Other duties as assigned.
