Key Responsibilities:
- Master Parts List (MPL) Management & Validation:
- Create and validate Master Parts Lists (MPLs) for all builds, working hand-in-hand with the internal engineering team and partner companies.
- Ensure MPL accuracy through regular Bill of Materials (BOM) to MPL alignment checks.
- Collaborate with Prototype Engineering to integrate process-related data into the MPL.
- Perform validations regularly (e.g., weekly) to maintain MPL accuracy
- Change Management & System Alignment:
- Manage changes effectively by approving and executing Change Management (CM) tickets.
- Maintain system alignment by analyzing, debugging, and correlating data during transfers between various platforms.
- Regularly communicate with the warehouse team to update part availability.
- Production & Build Support:
- Support part shortage meetings, providing clear and concise status updates on all critical issues.
- Support deviation meetings to ensure all necessary changes are accurately incorporated into the MPL.
- Report the clear part status throughout the duration of the build tracking.
- Support Change Review Boards (CRBs) for any last-minute changes that may be needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Data Management
- Experience with change management processes and tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to navigate complex data challenges.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
Bonus Points (Nice to Have):
- Previous experience in an EV or automotive prototype development environment.
- Understanding of vehicle architecture and systems, (preferably the electrical and wiring harnesses)
- Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems.
