ABOUT THE ROLE

The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead is responsible for planning and delivering change management activities within system deployments or business/technical transformations. The role provides governance and oversight, actively participating as a core team member. Depending on project scope, this role may lead specific change management areas alongside overall governance and project management.

CLIENT DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITIES

The OCM Lead will:

  • Plan and execute change management efforts, including Stakeholder Engagement & Communication, Operational Readiness, and Training
  • Lead Stakeholder Engagement & Communication activities
  • Identify and map key stakeholders, develop strategic and tactical communication plans
  • Use channels like meetings, message boards, email, video, etc., to deliver messages
  • Measure awareness and adoption through surveys and interviews
  • Identify and mitigate change impacts from transformations
  • Establish and manage change champion networks
  • Lead Operational Readiness activities to ensure understanding of new processes
  • Build a Super User Community for post-implementation support
  • Prepare the business for cutover and transitional activities
  • Lead Training activities: assess needs, design curriculum, develop materials, and coordinate logistics
  • Provide governance and adherence to strategies or playbooks
  • Act as primary contact for change activities within project teams and stakeholders
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Facilitate team meetings, mentor team members, and track/report status
BSC EXPECTATIONS

As a BSC employee, the OCM Lead is expected to:

  • Meet or exceed billable utilization targets
  • Drive delivery success and build client relationships as an internal Engagement Manager
  • Participate in internal initiatives like the BSC Journey to Excellence
  • Engage in recruiting efforts
  • Contribute to business development activities within the Relationship Sales Program
CAPABILITIES

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7-10+ years of consulting experience (Big 4 or equivalent preferred)
  • Expertise in OCM best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels
  • Experience leading change management in large-scale system implementations
  • Coaching skills and team leadership
  • Familiarity with Program/Project Management in global transformations
  • Knowledge of SAFe, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience in enterprise software implementations in matrixed environments
  • Risk management skills
  • Proficiency with MS Project, PowerPoint, and online communication tools
  • Experience with stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and survey analysis
  • Client management skills, including proposal writing and business development
  • Understanding of technology implementation lifecycle, process design, and training delivery
  • Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and conflict management skills
  • Ability to foster collaboration, engagement, and team productivity
  • Leadership qualities, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset

Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.

Compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $250,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
