Chamber Assembler - 2nd Shift **Location:** Winona Campus; 1725 Wilkie Drive, Winona, MN 55987 **Shift/Hours:** 2nd Shift, Mondays-Thursdays, 3:00pm-1:00am

**The Team:**

This role is a part of the production assembly team. The production assembly team works with the scheduling, materials, and operations teams to accomplish work and provides necessary components to further processing.

**The Role:**

This position spends time assembling sub-assemblies and thermal chambers with other production team members. This position will assemble together components, wire harnesses and metal parts as specified by schematics, diagrams, and manufacturing instructions using hand tools.

Position Type: Full-Time Winona, MN Salary Range: $18.00 $21.00 Hourly Job Shift: 2nd Shift Job Category: Production Company and Position Summary Responsibilities and Qualifications **You will spend your time:**

* Maintaining clean and orderly workstations and equipment

* Completing tasks as designated by production schedules with minimum supervision

* Performing electrical and sub-assembly processes using power tools such as drills, grinders, pneumatic rivet guns, and Dremel tools on a daily basis

* Reporting defective materials or safety concerns to the Cell Coordinators

* May rotate to various workstations as required

* Pressurizing chambers systems using nitrogen and refrigerant

* Leak checking chamber systems using refrigerant leak detecting devices

* Using HVAC equipment such as manifold gauges, vacuum pumps, and micron gauges

* Cutting, deburring, and swaging copper

* Aligning and clamping work pieces together, using rule, square, or template or sets up placing them in fixtures, jigs, or vise

* Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly

* Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating work pieces

* Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects

* Performing other duties assigned as needed

**Additional skills and abilities related to this position:**

* The ability to read and interpret refrigeration and wiring schematics

* Ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position

* Ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects

* The ability to read a tape measure and cut materials to precise dimensions using equipment such as panel saws and band saws

**Physical Requirements:**

* Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials up to 10 pounds

* Must be able to lift up to 10-50 pounds

* Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance

* Frequent standing, up to 10-hour days

* Frequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching and walking

**Travel:**

* This position may travel between all RIS facilities.

* Infrequent travel for trainings and/or business needs may be required.

**Work Environment:**

* Manufacturing setting
