• Administer Respiratory Therapies: Provide treatments such as oxygen therapy, nebulized medications, and non-invasive ventilation to help manage patient respiratory conditions.
• Conduct Diagnostic Testing: Perform tests like arterial blood gases (ABGs) and pulmonary function tests, and interpret the results to aid in patient diagnosis and care planning.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute personalized respiratory care plans.
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their families how to use respiratory equipment properly and maintain care at home.
• Ensure Equipment and Record Maintenance: Maintain respiratory equipment and ensure proper function, while documenting patient care activities and treatment plans accurately.

Qualifications:

• Active CRT license in the State of Texas
• NBRC Certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• New grads are encouraged to apply
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
