We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at a critical access hospital in Coudersport, Pennsylvania. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative, low-volume rural hospital with weekday shifts and no call requirements. Position Details: Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital (25 beds) Start Date: October 6th Shift Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM Coverage Needed: Ongoing Call: None (Anesthesia MD always in-house for call) Patient Population: All ages Surgical Specialties: General Surgery Orthopedics ENT Gastroenterology Urology Anesthesia Model: Care team model – CRNAs work collaboratively with supervising Anesthesiologist Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, independent anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and formulate care plans Administer anesthesia (general, regional, monitored anesthesia care) Monitor patients intraoperatively and postoperatively Work closely with surgeons, anesthesia MD, and OR staff Requirements: NBCRNA Certification – Board Certified or Board Eligible Active Pennsylvania CRNA License ACLS & BLS Certification – Required Prior experience in a rural or critical access setting preferred Ability to work independently in a team-based model Located in scenic north-central Pennsylvania, Coudersport offers a peaceful small-town atmosphere surrounded by nature.
