Job DescriptionJoin a prestigious academic hospital in Hershey, PA, as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. In this key role, you will manage anesthesia care across a variety of surgical cases, excluding cardiac, OB, and blocks. Key Details- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens- Setting: Hospital- Start Date: ASAP- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM; flexible for 12-hour shifts- Patient Population: All Ages, Anesthesia Cases- Location: Hershey, PA- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities- Assess, prepare, and manage patients for anesthesia care in the perioperative/procedural period- Develop and implement anesthetic plans- Perform history and physical evaluations- Obtain informed consent from patients- Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and post-operative assessments- Administer general, regional, and spinal anesthesia, as well as monitored anesthesia care (MAC)

Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience- Certified with necessary ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications- Ability to work collaboratively in a large academic setting- No DEA license required in PA- Board certification required; CRNA

Working Hours- 8-hour shifts: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM- 10-hour shifts: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM- 12-hour shifts considered: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (7:30 AM start on Thursdays)

Skills- Proficient in general, spinal, and regional anesthesia- Experience with neurosurgical and complex orthopedic cases preferred- Competency in airway management, central and arterial line placement- Ability to manage acute volume and blood pressure issues in patients
