Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide anesthesia services for patients across various age groups, including infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
  • Coordinate peri-operative patient care in collaboration with the health care team.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy while working in a trauma level II facility.
  • Manage a mix of 8, 10, or 12-hour day shifts with opportunities for longer shifts.
  • Participate in minimal call duties while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Handle average-weight objects up to 25 pounds and engage in moderate physical activity.
  • Follow extensive safety precautions related to potentially dangerous materials and situations.
  • Utilize EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) for patient documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
  • Completion of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
  • Ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient care is preferred.
  • New graduates and CRNA students in their final year are encouraged to apply.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Current Michigan Nursing and Specialty License (or willingness to obtain).
  • Up-to-date COVID and annual flu vaccinations.
  • Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Clean malpractice/license history.
  • Visa support requirement (if applicable for J1 or H1B candidates).
