Perm - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

The medical center is a full-service facility with 249 licensed beds, serving counties in eastern Iowa and western Illinois. We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified CRNA to enhance our anesthesia services and provide exceptional care to our patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide professional anesthesiology services for adult and pediatric patients.
- Directly manage and supervise anesthesiology services to meet hospital requirements.
- Administer various types of anesthesia including general, pediatric, thoracic, and obstetrical anesthesia.
- Conduct pre-evaluation anesthesia services and post-surgical monitoring for complications.
- Respond promptly to emergency codes as required.
- Collaborate with OR Leadership Team, Anesthesia Providers, and clinical staff.
- Maintain a professional presence characterized by integrity and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Utilize Cerner for Electronic Medical Records.
- Engage in continuous compliance with medical standards and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA) - REQUIRED
- IA license or willingness to obtain - REQUIRED
- Experience with procedures in both adult and pediatric patients - REQUIRED
- 5+ years of CRNA work experience - PREFERRED
- BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire - REQUIRED
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications or willingness to obtain within 1 year - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice history - PREFERRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid IA state license or IMLC eligibility - REQUIRED
- Current BLS certification - REQUIRED
- Current ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications - REQUIRED
- Board Certification by NBCRNA - REQUIRED
