Under the supervision of the Recovery Center Program Director, provides peer support services to community members. - - ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - - include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Conducting one on one peer support sessions. Facilitating peer support groups. Utilizing recovery expertise, professional training and lived experience. Outreach to engage individuals currently in a program or considering treatment. Educating program participants about various modes of recovery. Accompanying clients to appointments. Provide support and guidance to individuals in recovery from substance abuse or addiction. Assist clients in developing and implementing personalized recovery plans. Conduct regular check-ins with clients to monitor progress and offer encouragement.
