Location: Plano, TX | Temp to Perm Opportunity

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Work Location: Plano, TX (candidates need to be within a 40-minute commute)

Length of Assignment: 90 days (Temp to Perm)

Parking: Parking Garage Provided

We are looking for a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team! In this position, you will assist in delivering exceptional patient care by collecting and processing high-quality specimens safely and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform specimen collection, labeling, transportation, and handling in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and ethical conduct.
• Support clerical duties related to specimen processing.
• Assist in training and auditing behaviors and performance as assigned.
• Contribute to achieving departmental goals and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

• Certification: Phlebotomy Certification and BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience in a high-volume facility, with exposure to all age groups. Experience processing samples is preferred.

Skills:

• Knowledge of laboratory protocols and procedures.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
• Proficiency in using computers and related software applications.
• Knowledge of safety and infection control standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
