Certified Pharmacy Technician - Yale-New Haven Health : Job Details

1. Supports and maintains regular review of medication systems, automated dispensing machine (Pyxis, CII Safe), code carts, Kitcheck, Pharmogistics, Accuprint, OR replenishment, etc., and restocks in an appropriate/timely manner 2. Ensure proper medication movement through rotation of stock based on expiration and usage patterns 3. Remove expired medications or soon-to-be-expiring medications from inventory distribution (carousel, automated dispensing cabinets) as per departmental guidelines 4. Properly receive medications from wholesale and replenish pharmacy stock accurately 5. Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounding products in a safe manner consistent with current standards of practice and current hospital policy and procedure 6. Appropriately complete any cleanroom standards and documentation, per departmental guidelines 7.
